It is very difficult to describe something you are a part of - It’s almost impossible for us to say something valid about our band.

The quest of naming the music we create is the first but not the only obstacle we face, we have put too much effort into it, it has grown too important for us to just define it in a few lines. In order to learn something about us it is maybe more useful to ask the people that have supported us for the last three years, not only with their presence at almost every gig of ours, but also by helping us out in numerous ways. They do know about us and may find words more appropriate.

We make music only to make music, l’art pour l’art. For the sound, the riffs and the energy in crowded bars. This seems to work. Nevertheless, we want to bring this thing to a climax, we want to see what happens.

The third CD’s out: “Yes, we are and no, we don’t” its name. We’ve worked a long time for it till our fingers had blisters and our throats were sore. We’ve written and rewritten songs, we’ve improvised and calculated and scrapped a lot of stuff just to find the essence: The CD is damn great, now.

This here is our calling card, Babe, this or nothing at all

(raise your glasses, my friends).

What we had as our concepts we filled with rock’n’roll and love, you will get a feel for it, at the latest when you see us live.

We’re writing new songs already, there’s no stopping us. Too many ideas, too much blood in our veins.

 

We have a good feeling about the future.

Founded in 2003, Spilled Wine changed and developed in several ways. The band, which originally consisted of four members was extendet by two additional musicians. A guitar and a piano player. Also a new drummer was found. Spilled Wine by now can look back on lots of gigs since the band’s beginnings and a lot of on-stage experiences.

The live shows are an event not at last because of the singer’s unique entertainment abilities. Concerning repertoire and musical exhaustion on stage Spilled Wine has a lot to offer also. With these qualities the six musicians were able to gain a considerable degree of popularity in Stuttgart and its environment and the live scene in this area has become unthinkable without the band’s energetic contributions.

If you ask them what’s so special about them, they will answer: “We try not to think in such small dimensions as music genres. For us, the “idea” plays the most important part, which we want to communicate. Therefore we do our songwriting without bias. This keeps our music fresh and unheard of.”

After three CDs, produced all on their own, and lots of gathered experiences Spilled Wine now want to do another step and take it to the next level.

You can be convinced that Spilled Wine will put all their effort into this and will work for their aims with 100% motivation.
